WINTER 2011/2012

         Winter is a great time to enjoy the Poconos.  There are many activities to enjoy both indoors and out!  Take time to hit the slopes of one of the many area ski mountains.  Shawnee Mountain is a great place for the whole family to enjoy with beginners, intermediate and expert trails as well as a large terrain park for the snowboard enthusiast.  There are other outdoor adventures to experience incuding cross country skiing, snow shoeing, horseback riding and various winter themed events in the area.  For those who prefer indoors there is shopping, candle making, local theater or just cozy up to the fireplace with a good book!

         You will also notice our new and inviting lobby.  Our hope is that you will find a more welcoming atmosphere with a better flow.

         Upon your arrival please take a look at the improved activities schedule  Various shuttle trips to local attractions, family events such as Minute to Win It and movie nights along with plenty of other options will keep the whole family entertained. 

         Please note that beginning April 1, 2011 you will need to present a credit card at check in.  This credit card will be used to place a ‘hold’ of $150 for a security deposit on the unit.  Providing there are no damages to the unit upon check out, the ‘hold’ will be released in 7 to 10 business days as determined by the credit card issuer. It is recommended that you avoid using bank debit cards as this hold may exceed the normal 7 – 10 days, again, depending on the bank that has issued the card. These wait times are beyond our control.

        If you anticipate a late arrival or arriving on a later date than your expected check-in date, please contact our Guest Services Department to let them know.
