| The
Poconos
The first vacationers
arrived in the Pocono area in 1829. Since then, the
Poconos has become a favorite destination for those wanting
a break from the hectic urban pace. Though the Poconos
was once known as the "Honeymoon capital of the
World", this area now offers something for couples and
activities like hiking, rafting, fishing, and horseback
riding. Or, visit an animal park, water park or
amusement park. Winter brings skiing, tubing, and
snowmobiling to the area. Additional area attractions
include several museums, historical sites, state parks,
shopping, seasonal festivals, and the Delaware Water
Gap National Recreation Area.

Resort
Units
Units in the area are
comfortable and large, but may be rustic with older
furnishings. Most units have many steps leading to
them on the outside with additional stairs inside. The
water in the area is hard water and can appear discolored;
however, it is safe for consumption and should not be a
cause for concern. Because resorts reserve the right
to reassign guests to a like-type unit, we are unable to
guarantee unit views and location. For information on
a specific unit, please choose a village
from the menu above.
