Resort News Quarterly

Your Recreation Center has had a busy Summer thus far. We have added several new activities, including day trips to Mt. Airy Casino where card games such as Poker and Blackjack have been new additions to Pennsylvania. We also have a guided bus tour of New York City for those who choose to venture into the “Big Apple” for the day.

Each quarter we perform preventative maintenance on each villa. This allow us to complete this work 4 times annually to ensure that your units are at the optimum.

Your management team is out inspecting villas everyday, to make sure that the units are cleaned and well maintained. Our contracted Landscaping crew has been busy with the entire resort, maintaining the grounds and keeping the resort looking better than ever. They recently completed some upgrades to our Frontier Falls Miniature Golf Course with a brand new water feature near the resort entrance.

Construction is complete on the new Crestview section of Shawnee Resort. This is Wyndham Vacation Ownerships addition to Shawnee. An additional 28 units have opened for occupancy including two 4-bedroom Presidential Suites. Landscaping upgrades will continue through the Summer months.

Last but, certainly not least; there are some new faces in management this year. Adrienne McBride is our new Resort Manager who comes to us with nearly 20 years of management experience from nearby Fernwood Resort. Adrienne will be working closely with your HOA Board of Directors as well as the Senior Management Teams at Wyndham. John Phillips joined Shawnee in January 2010 as Assistant Resort Manager. John will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the resort including maintenance, activities, guest services and housekeeping.
